Runtime:

22:59

Diller McCasslin, a single father and hotel security officer, finds his sense of control slipping when he encounters something he cannot explain—a talking bear working at a fast-food restaurant. While others, including his teenage daughter Shelly, seem to accept this reality without concern, Diller becomes increasingly fixated on the threat he believes the bear represents.

As his anxiety grows, Diller searches for answers, turning to coworkers, the internet, and ultimately to a misguided plan to eliminate the source of his fear. His attempts to assert control begin to fracture his relationship with Shelly, revealing deeper tensions rooted in grief and loss.

When Diller is finally forced to confront the consequences of his fear, the boundaries between reality and psychological projection begin to collapse, leading him toward an unsettling recognition of what he is truly trying to protect—and what he may be destroying in the process.
