While sailing around the world, Jean, Isabelle, and her son Damien stop in Djibouti, where they meet Mike, a young African who helps them fix their boat. As they set sail for the dangerous Aden Gulf, Jean decides to embark with Mike, who wants to start a new life. A few days later, off the Somalian coast, a fishing boat approaches, and their journey takes a dramatic turn.
